Release of Liability

Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification Agreement

By enrolling my child in a ConnectEd Tech & Gaming Summer Camp (“Program”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that participation in ConnectEd’s programs is voluntary and may include activities involving computers, creative software, video equipment, gaming, movement within the facility, and the use of electronic devices.

  2. Assumption of Risk
I understand that all activities—while supervised—carry some risk of injury, including but not limited to eye strain, posture-related discomfort, minor accidents, slips or falls, or interactions with other participants. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of my child.

  3. Medical Authorization
In the event of an emergency, I authorize ConnectEd staff to secure medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I agree to be financially responsible for any medical care provided.

  4. Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless ConnectEd Tech & Gaming LLC, its owners (including Matt Bailey), employees, independent contractors, volunteers, agents, and representatives from all liability, claims, demands, or actions arising from my child’s participation in the Program, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

  5. Behavior & Expectations
I understand that ConnectEd has a Code of Conduct to maintain a safe, respectful environment. If my child’s behavior jeopardizes safety or disrupts the program, ConnectEd may dismiss them from the Program without refund.

  6. Property & Personal Items
ConnectEd is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items brought into the facility.

  7. Media Release (Optional)
I grant permission for ConnectEd to photograph or record my child during activities for promotional and educational use. (Parents may opt out at registration.)

By completing registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Release of Liability.
